Investing In A Greener Columbus
The Green Fund is uniquely established to support green initiatives throughout Columbus Ohio. Columbus invests in a diverse scope of successful nonprofits, through methodic grant-making. Nonprofits are invited to explore competitive grant opportunities made possible by their donors.
Such funding opportunities include:
- Innovative operations of local organizations and specific fields
- Financial innovation with partnerships, acquisitions, mergers and social enterprise
- Capital improvements of nonprofit programs and services
- Various targeted needs regarding health, community improvement, conservation, youth development & more
Grants And Funding For Sustainability in Central Ohio
In partnership with The Columbus Foundation, the Green Funds provide a $5,000 stipend for a qualifying student to work with a central Ohio environmental or conservation nonprofit for 10 weeks during the summer of 2017. The Summer Fellowship Programcreates a bond between central Ohio nonprofits and student leaders interested in the nonprofit sector, positively impacting our community.
