Ohio Plastic Recycling company RES Polyflow is nearing the completion of its first pyrolysis unit. The Akron based company developed a process vessel that turns all plastic into a usable liquid.

The Polyflow vessel uses a process called pyrolysis to melt the plastics into a liquid that can then be added to items such as paint or solvents. The unit will be placed near Perry, OH. Once it is operating fully, there may also be a plant built around the unit. Currently, four employees are working on the process vessel full time. If the plant is built, Polyflow would hire on 30 more employees.
