Join thousands of your fellow Ohioans at the 159th State Fair in Columbus, OH! For 12 days, July 25-August 5, central Ohio will be rocking with the best music, competitions, food, and learning programs in the state. The Ohio Expo Center & State Fair is located at 717 East 17th Avenue. The fair is open every day from 9am-10pm, and admission is only $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and ages 5-12. Not from the Columbus area? That’s no problem! Directions, hotel accommodations, campers and camping facilities can be found on the state fair website.

Fun for All at State Fair in Columbus

There are more than enough fun filled activities to keep everyone in the family happy and interested at this year’s Ohio State Fair. For those who like competition, there are athletic, academic, crafts and agriculture contests. Watch as your fellow state residents compete in the 5k run, spelling bee, livestock or homebrewing events. There will be free music and paid concerts all through the festival. Get up and dance or throw down a blanket and relax as some America’s best bands and comedians take the stage. Learn something new with the many educational activities available this year. Engage in awesome math and science experiments, see an Ohio Civil War camp, or interact with over 20,000 animals including livestock and a live shark encounter!
